With less than a year of training together, the partnership of Team Revolution prep coach Ben Greenblatt, and Team Revolution athlete Tsuki Harris has resulted in a first place trophy and a qualification to the prestigious BNBF finals at the Echo arena in Liverpool on twenty first September.
On 29th June at the Ferneham hall in Fareham, Tsuki swept aside two other competitors to take home the gold. The 26 year old from North London, trained with Ben four times a week in the run up to the competition. Before she first came to Ben, Tsuki had already competed twice at qualifiers in the figure division of the BNBF, but failed to qualify for the finals after two fourth place finishes.
Ben, who also devised and overlooked her nutrition and macro-nutrients, persuaded Tsuki that she possessed the muscularity and the potential for the physique class. The physique class is the more muscular class of the BNBF’S female division. The decision paid off as Tsuki beat the two heavier competitors to seal the win.
Ben said, ‘I couldn’t be more proud of Tsuki, she has worked so hard for this show, and I’m so happy that her hard work paid off. A winner’s trophy and a qualification to the BNBF finals. We couldn’t ask for more. I am really happy with the changes we have made in the past year, Tsuki’s physique is harder, more muscular and leaner than ever before. I am one happy coach.’
Tsuki is a vegetarian, and she stayed vegetarian throughout her competition prep.
Ben and Tsuki will now be looking to improve her physique for the British finals which will present a more difficult challenge as they prepare to face the best in the country.
